About National Recovery Month

Recovery Month is a yearly celebration of those individuals living in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders in the United States. Entering its 31st year, Recovery Month is a time to speak about and bring awareness to behavioral health and the possibilities of long-term recovery! Unity is joining with the Manayunk Development Corporation and small businesses up and down Main Street Manayunk this September to celebrate in style! Our organizations will highlight and lift up the voices of the 60+ million Americans, and the 1.6 million Philadelphians, living in recovery everyday. Join us this September by painting Manayunk purple and becoming a face and voice of recovery!
