
SAN ANTONIO, TX – June 30, 2025 — Unity Recovery, a national leader in peer-led recovery support services, is proud to announce the opening of its newest Recovery Community Center located at 4045 E Southcross Blvd, San Antonio, TX. This center marks a significant expansion of Unity Recovery’s commitment to providing inclusive, community-based support for individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health concerns.
The SATX location offers free, peer-delivered recovery and re-entry support services rooted in lived and living experience, connection, and compassion. Services include one-on-one peer support, recovery planning, re-entry planning, mutual aid meetings, pro-social activities, digital support access, and inclusive community events – all designed to meet people where they are and empower them on their journey.
“Opening our San Antonio center means bringing real, person-centered peer support into the heart of the community,” said Robert Ashford, Executive Director of Unity Recovery. “This space belongs to everyone – whether someone is in recovery, exploring change, or just looking for a supportive environment. It’s a place to be seen, supported, and celebrated.”
